The post with no title

July 12th 2005

So I installed Dorie’s comment plugger hack. It’s so much cooler than the old one I had. She’s real good with these plugins. Supposedly, she’s made another one and when she releases it, I want that one, too. :D

I just got finished watching Law and Order. The episode was Conscience. A sociopathic thirteen year-old boy kills another boy and he’s charged with the murder as a child. The father of the murdered boy finds out he’ll get out of jail when he’s eighteen and kills him in the courthouse. The father who is a psychiatrist, manipulates the system and is found not guilty.

When the jury returned their verdict, I was very happy with it. If my child was murdered by a sociopath, who also happens to be HIS FRIEND, and the murdered shows no remorse, I would probably shoot him, too. The show leaves you wondering if the dad is a sociopath also. But if I were in his situation, I would do the same thing. So does this make me a sociopath?

I went to Six Flags yesterday. With John, Gabe, and Charlie. It was pretty fun. We rode all the big rides and spent a lot of time in the water park. I got even more sunburned, but it’s not that bad now. It hurt when the sun was beating down on it though. I could feel the sun on my skin. That’s the worst part of it all.

Annie and I want to try a journaling project. We want to create a system like Livejournal, but free, and better. Too bad we don’t have any money to get this started. We found a script that would do everything, but it costs $200. The LJ code is open source, but requires a dedicated server, which costs a lot of money. So right now, we’re sitting and waiting the response of someone who might have a license to the script.

Oh and now it’s time for Friends. So bye. =)

Hey Buuuud-dy

I’m watching The Girl Next Door again. This movie is so great. When I first saw the previews, I thought it was going to be a dumb comedy with no plot. Well, it has a plot. It’s not the best, but it’s pretty cute. I absolutely loved how this movie turned out. Thumbs up!

And GUESS WHAT?!? I GOT A PUPPY. He’s a rottweiler, probably about six weeks old or so. He’s adorable. We named him Buddy. I have a photo, but I don’t wanna find it. :P You can see him on myspace.

I also fixed up my Wordpress permalinks. Those things are complicated. But I finally got it all fixed. :yay: Thanks to Jen and Dorie. :muah:

Okay, well, I think that’s about it for now. Except, I got my livejournal back up. It’s friends only, but I’ll add ya if you want me to. ;)

P.S. I made a gift for my lovely affies! :D Doesn’t it rock?

affies gift!

Abuse, Cars, and Batman

July 7th 2005

I was just on the phone with my friend when his dad came in his room and started yelling at him. He hadn’t done anything wrong and his dad was yelling to give him the phone (his own cellphone). He was cursing and shouting and being extremely rude. I feel really bad for him. This guy is such a good person and his parents are horribly rude.

He happens to be really good at a sport and his parents go after him to succeed. Which would be a good thing, if they weren’t over the top. If he makes a little mistake, they yell and punish him. They’ll even beat him.

I can’t see how parents can be so cruel to their children. I know this isn’t the worst case scenario, but it’s happening to a person who’s close to me.

Other than TV shows, I don’t really ever see any bad things happen to people. I watch a lot of Law and Order and Judging Amy, two shows that deal with horrible things that happen to people. Fortunately, I’ve never had to deal with things like this in real life.

Although I have problems with my own father, it has never, and probably (hopefully) will never be physical. He just yells and screams in a drunken rage. Which I’ve gotten used to. And I don’t have to see him that much so it’s not that bad anymore.

To change the mood completely, I’m watching one of the best (and dumbest) movies ever: Dude, Where’s My Car?. Oh this movie rocks so much. It doesn’t have a real plot and doesn’t have good lines or characters or anything. But it’s hilarious. I LOVE IT!

Just so you know…my favorite smilie is :hero:. Doesn’t it rock so much?

Well…

I did it again. I got tired of the way the domain was layed out so I changed it. Yay for me. :queen: So I’ve got a new layout up. It’s pretty, don’t you think? Makes me hungry. :yay:

Nothing real big was added…but I did put a few background images up and some new adoptions. OH! And new smilies from Kawaiiness! Aren’t they cute?

So pretty much I made a little collective for the main section of this domain. I need something to remind me of all the projects I have. ;)

The bad thing about all of this is that all my posts and comments are gone. Now I’ve got a stats page though. :hero: Go me!

Oh yeah. I’ll be re-adding all my gorgeous themes in a bit. And working on some new ones. :crush:
