Last week Don and I got a dog. His name is Copper. He is a purebred AKC registered beagle. He turned six weeks old Friday. He used to do a whole lot of sleeping, but he’s getting to be a lot more playful now. He doesn’t sleep the entire night, but wakes up about four, having to go to the bathroom. He’s still in the chew-on-everything phase and I hope he’s one of those dogs that grows out of that. We’re working on potty training right now. He’s registered on Dogster also. I’m not very familiar with that site so we haven’t done much to his page. I’ll get around to that later.

I made a new layout yesterday. I’m still in the process of fixing some things up. I don’t have a clue how it’s going to look in IE yet. I’ll see when I get to work.
I also added post categories to newer posts. I’m going to add some more plugins and make this a better blog. I’m hoping to turn it into something a little more than just where I post random things every once in awhile. Eventually.
P.S. I know the buttons at the top don’t work yet. There’s still content links in the sidebar. There’s also lots of little things that need to be fixed so if things aren’t right, don’t worry.

While at work, I’m not allowed to use my beloved StumbleUpon because it’s blocked by our filters. I am however, able to view Digg. While I am not a big fan of Digg, I do want something to keep me occupied while I’m working. So as I was browsing, I found this article. This idiot commented on her article saying how right she was. I just wanted to rant myself about how stupid they both are.
If you haven’t been living under a rock, you would know that OS X came out long ago. And I mean LONG ago. Vista was just released and now the new Leopard, coming out later this year, has been accused of being a Vista copy. The features coming up in Leopard that Mary Jo Foley claimed are copies of Vista were almost all in Tiger. There are a few that aren’t included in Tiger, but that were mentioned before Vista was released, just in time for another one of Vista’s delays.
How interesting…

The past few weeks has been taken up with work and preparing for college. We’re moving in August, probably around the first. I’ve been looking at apartments and collecting furniture from relatives and friends. I think we’re actually going to have plenty of stuff. I really want a washer and dryer because Don and I have to do laundry twice a week because of his job. I’ve been looking on craiglist for some, maybe I’ll find a cheap one.
I also want to get an XBox 360. Not a priority at all, but still something fun for me and Don. My reasoning behind it is if we have internet, TV and a video game system, then we won’t need to go out and bother ourselves with spending more money to keep entertained. As it is, we go out a lot. We went bowling, to a movie and to dinner a bunch this week. Too much. So anyway, I’ve been looking for a good used core system or even a modded system for semi-cheap on craigslist and ebay. I don’t want to buy a new one, but if I do, I’ll just get the core system and mod it myself. I’d want to add a huge hard drive to store games and movies on.
Which brings me to my ultimate entertainment system that I’ve been planning. I want to *eventually* have a full entertainment system run off a Mac. A huge hard drive, I’m talking terabytes huge, that I burn all our movies to and TV shows of course. With a fabulous TiVo or DVR system hooked up to a monster high definition plasma TV or something. Man, that would be awesome…A girl can dream.
