A really good resource is The Blog World. Amanda has lots of tutorials, tricks, etc. for bloggers that are really helpful. I have it bookmarked and check it regularly to see what things she posted. It definitely warrants a visit.
I’m working on mine and Don’s budget. I’m trying to keep track of all our purchases in 2006. What goes to the car, what goes to food, etc. It’s slow-going. I’ve finally found a program I like that’s free. It’s got a reports feature that will give me graphs and that’s really what I’ve been looking for. Now I’ve just got to type everything in.
I’m also loving the Firefox extension Stumble Upon. It’s great. I’ve found a lot of good websites through it.

Don and I have to write a short story for English. So what is ours about? The X-Men. Or really, the O-Men. We’re doing a spoof of the greatest comic ever written. So far we’ve got characters, a plot, setting, theme and conflict because that’s what our teacher made us do the first day. All characters are taken after the real X-Men and have similar, but either not very good or funny powers.
The O-Men attend Dr. O’s School for Kids Who Can’t Read Good in New Jersey. Mr Whiskers plots to close the school because he wants his own while the O-Men struggle against rival X-Men in an academic and athletic bowl.
Can you tell who is who?

Don loves this. He’s such a nerd with comics, Star Wars, etc. It’s so cute.

We have ducks! I am in the process of uploading a new layout, but I have to go to work in the middle, so it’s not quite ready. Some templates are still messed up and I doubt it’s valid. So everything will be fixed later. Content is still up and everything, but the layout’s just a little buggy for a few hours. Enjoy though. 
Edit: I finished coding almost everything. The only thing left is accessibility.
If you notice any errors or weird things, please tell me. Also, I haven’t checked how it looks in IE. That’s on my list. I also got new smilies, thanks to beccary.com.

I hate when people use Webdings (or Wingdings…whatever) and make that heart. I don’t have the font and it always shows up as “|”. It’s annoying.
So I just finished sanding and staining some furniture. We bought it a few years ago at an unfinished furniture store and I finally got it ready. The stain is a medium brown that looks really good. My bed’s a similar color and all the furniture will look pretty good. I still have one more bookcase to do, but it was painted red so it’s slow-going. I had to strip it and it’s still not all off so we have to sand it. It’ll probably take me another few hours, but I’m going to leave that for another day.
I also have a big project in Stats due tomorrow. I finally started working on it earlier. I have all the answers, but I need to put them in sentence form and write some junk about them.
Oh and my new quilt is up. I likes it. I’m in the process of making a new layout for this site. I don’t seem to be having much luck though. My inspiration is not that great and I suck at drawing in Illustrator.

It’s been ages since I posted. My spring break was okay. We painted a lot (my room). It’s almost done. The black and red took a lot of coats to cover up, which makes sense. I am a horrible painter. And it’s not so fun. My arms get tired after about five minutes. Shows how much I’m out of shape. Actually, I’m really getting out of shape and I need to start exercising. Today I’m sick though.
My brain is not functioning correctly so I’m done.
I am working on a new QBee quilt. It’s gonna be great.
