Tribute to Televison

As a normal American teenager, I watch a lot of television. Probably eight to ten hours a day. I watch it even while online. I’m a multi-tasker. And here is a tribute to my favorite shows.

Reba
I’ll start with this show because it is what I’m watching now. I started watching this show a few years ago and found it pretty funny. Reba’s hilarious. I don’t know how much of it is actually her or is just her writers. But whatever it is, I like it. The sshow finale was this past week and now it’s over (I think). I don’t really watch the new shows because it’s hard to keep up with them. I do watch the reruns that come on six times a day. So on average, I watch two hours of Reba every weekday. It’s predictable like all other sitcoms, but it keeps me entertained. It makes me laugh, and I mean really laugh every episode. In general, this show is just great.

Psych
This show comes on USA and its website is psych.usanetwork.com. It started this summer and my boyfriend and I watched every episode and fell in love. The second season is in full swing now and it’s great. I haven’t missed an episode. It is a show that I definitely have to invest in and buy the seasons. I love the sarcasm and sense of humor of this show. If you want a good idea of my humor, watch Psych.

Futurama
Ah, how I love this show. And it’s so much more than a TV show. It’s gotten to a point in my life where I see references to Futurama in everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. For the past two months, I have watched at least two episodes everyday. Every single day. I found this show a few years ago, after it was already cancelled. I now own all five seasons and can’t wait for its return at the end of 2007 or early 2008. That’s right, it’s coming back, this time to Comedy Central. Boy am I excited. I love this show so much that it has been two of my layouts and countless avatars on message boards. I’m thinking about opening a fansite. Seriously. It’s on my list of things to do.

House
I got into this show this past season, about halfway through it. I’d never watched it before, and me and Don fell in love with it. Soon after watching a few episodes, we bought season one. Then season two. And I downloaded (oops) all of season three to hold me over until the dvd set comes out. Yes, I buy them. I am so excited and ready for season four. I love Hugh Laurie, and like most people find him attractive, even though his character is an unkept, rough looking jerk. For some reason, House is just super lovable and I’m a fan.
